Rooted in holistic practices and modern wellness, these interactive experiences blend nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and lifestyle design into a powerful journey toward optimal well-being.

We take a  deep dive into holistic practices for stress management. We go over the importance of self-care and Mind-body modalities like breathwork, gentle movement, and meditation. I will offer guidance on improving sleep, energy, mental clarity, gut health, and emotional balance.

These workshops are designed to relieve stress, fatigue, and overwhelm. Together we will discuss an aligned, intentional approach to wellness. You will be introduced to tools that will help you to build sustainable routines that fit your real life. There will be time to reflect, reconnect with yourself, and set clear wellness intentions.

Types of Yoga taught

Yin Yoga

A gentle, yet deep range of postures that are often held for an extended period, alongside occasional slow-flowing movements, providing a chance to expand tight muscles and release tension within the joints. With the support of props and mindful guidance, we take time to linger with deep breaths, nourishing the fascia, tendons, and ligaments. This soft, caring approach enhances mobility and invites deep relaxation.

Somatic Movement

I typically offer two experiences when it comes to somatic movement: a Yin and a Yang approach. Depending on the student’s needs, I may offer one of the styles or I may blend the two.

The Yin approach delivers a range of slow, conscious movements and postures. We use methods such as pendulation, breathwork, grounding, spatial awareness, and self-regulation. This practice is somatically therapeutic, functional for anyone living with chronic illness, chronic pain, deep-seated trauma, and mental discomfort.

The Yang approach of somatic movement is liberating and strengthening on many levels. Awakening your emotional body, you move with rhythm, expanding your mental and physical flexibility. You are given an invitation to shake, dance, bounce, and vibe to your inner beat. Your energy and breath flow freely within moments of dynamic and fresh movements mingled with opportunities to slow down, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and light.

Hatha Yoga

For anyone looking to explore creative movement, breath, and awareness. Offering a dynamic approach to movement, we flow with invigoration, settle in postures that provide strength and balance in mind and body, and make time to breathe and relax. This practice generates mindfulness, exploration, and joy, encouraging strength, flexibility, and inner calm at your own pace.

Flow Yoga

Flow yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that emphasizes supple, fluid movements linked to the rhythm of the breath. The goal is to flow through postures smoothly, creating a continuous sequence of movements, much like a dance. Each movement is paired with an inhalation or exhalation, creating a rhythm that can promote focus and attention. Flow yoga helps develop both strength and flexibility. While some poses focus on stretching muscles, others use them for stability and endurance. This balance between effort and ease cultivates physical strength as well as mental calm by encouraging awareness of the present moment, linking body movement to breath. It is therefore not only a physical practice, but also a meditation in movement. The overall atmosphere of a flow class can be energizing or calming, depending on the pace of the movements and the intention, allowing one to feel invigorated and mentally clear.

Senior Yoga

A chance to move within a supportive community. We support each other as we try new poses that help reduce discomfort and limited mobility. We work together to cultivate strength, awareness, and peace of mind, offering gentle, mindful movements that help improve flexibility, strength, balance, and overall well-being. The pace is attentive and adaptable to your unique needs, with a focus on the sensations felt in your body. We integrate breath awareness, joint mobility, and safe alignment to accommodate age-related bodily changes. Positions and stretches are adapted to avoid tension and accommodate a range of mobility levels. Chairs, blocks, and other props may be used to support movement and provide stability. The emphasis is on deep, calming breaths to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve lung capacity. Classes include exercises to improve balance, which can help reduce the risk of falls and improve coordination, while other postures will help maintain and develop muscle strength, particularly in areas such as

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is a specialized form of yoga designed to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. It involves gentle, mindful movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation techniques tailored to the needs of pregnant women. It helps maintain flexibility in key areas of the body, such as the hips, pelvis, and lower back, which are subject to change as the body adjusts to pregnancy. Strengthening the core, pelvic floor, and leg muscles is emphasized to help support the growing baby and prepare the body for labor and delivery. Controlled breathing techniques are taught to help manage stress, anxiety, and discomfort. These breathing exercises can also be beneficial during labor, providing tools for relaxation and concentration. Prenatal yoga helps improve circulation, reduce swelling, and relieve common pregnancy-related discomforts, such as back pain, leg cramps, and nausea. The practice promotes mental clarity and emotional balance, providing expectant mothers with a space to connect with their bodies and babies, as well as relieving stress and promoting overall well-being.
