Rooted in holistic practices and modern wellness, these interactive experiences blend nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and lifestyle design into a powerful journey toward optimal well-being.

We take a  deep dive into holistic practices for stress management. We go over the importance of self-care and Mind-body modalities like breathwork, gentle movement, and meditation. I will offer guidance on improving sleep, energy, mental clarity, gut health, and emotional balance.

These workshops are designed to relieve stress, fatigue, and overwhelm. Together we will discuss an aligned, intentional approach to wellness. You will be introduced to tools that will help you to build sustainable routines that fit your real life. There will be time to reflect, reconnect with yourself, and set clear wellness intentions.

Types of Yoga taught

Yin Yoga

A gentle, yet deep range of postures that are often held for an extended period, alongside occasional slow-flowing movements, providing a chance to expand tight muscles and release tension within the joints. With the support of props and mindful guidance, we take time to linger with deep breaths, nourishing the fascia, tendons, and ligaments. This soft, caring approach enhances mobility and invites deep relaxation.

Somatic Movement

Somatic movement is a gentle, mindful practice that focuses on developing awareness of the body from the inside out. Rather than exercising for performance or appearance, somatic movement encourages you to go deeper, notice your body’s sensations, and move in ways that improve mobility, reduce tension, regulate the nervous system, and strengthen the mind-body connection. It helps you move with greater ease, efficiency, and self-awareness.

Somatic Yin movement is slow, calming, and restorative. It emphasizes elusive movement, subtle rhythmic movement, breath awareness, mindful stillness, and relaxation. Yin practices help activate the parasympathetic (« rest and digest ») nervous system, improve flexibility, release tension, and promote recovery.

Somatic Yang Movement is more active, dynamic, and energizing. It builds inner strength, enhances cardiovascular endurance, balance, and bone health while stimulating the body and mind. Yang practices consciously activate the sympathetic nervous system, helping us build resilience, improve functional movement, express emotions, and support overall physical health.

Both Yin and Yang somatic movement are essential for holistic and integrative wellness. I work to curate the two, depending on the practitioner’s needs.

Accessible Hatha Yoga

Accessible Hatha Yoga is an open-minded, adaptable practice designed to meet you where you are. It focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and body awareness through mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation.

Classes are suitable for beginners, older adults, individuals living with chronic illness or pain, and anyone seeking a mindful and supportive approach to movement. Postures can be modified using props such as chairs, blocks, bolsters, or blankets, allowing each participant to practice safely and comfortably according to their own abilities.

Rather than striving for perfect poses, Accessible Hatha Yoga encourages you to move with awareness, respect your body’s limits, and develop confidence in your own movement. The emphasis is on functional movement, nervous system regulation, and creating a positive relationship with your body.

Accessible Hatha Yoga is not about how flexible you are—it’s about learning to move with kindness, curiosity, and compassion while supporting your health and well-being.

Private Therapeutic Yoga

Private Therapeutic Yoga offers a personalized, compassionate approach to movement for individuals with unique health needs. Whether you are living with a chronic illness, recovering from an injury or surgery, managing chronic pain, navigating neurological conditions, or simply looking for a practice that meets you where you are, each session is thoughtfully adapted to your body, abilities, and goals.

Together, we focus on improving functional movement, mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, breathing, and nervous system regulation in a safe and supportive environment. The emphasis is not on achieving perfect postures but on helping you move with greater confidence, comfort, and ease in your daily life.

Sessions may incorporate yoga, somatic movement, breathwork, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and gentle strength and mobility exercises. Props such as chairs, blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets are used as needed to ensure the practice is accessible and comfortable.

Each session is designed to honour your body’s unique needs, helping you move safely, build resilience, and develop sustainable practices that support your long-term health and well-being.

Private therapeutic Yoga complements, but does not replace, medical care or rehabilitation. Sessions are adapted to your health status, and medical clearance may be recommended when appropriate.

Senior Yoga

A chance to move within a supportive community. We support each other as we try new poses that help reduce discomfort and limited mobility. We work together to cultivate strength, awareness, and peace of mind, offering gentle, mindful movements that help improve flexibility, strength, balance, and overall well-being. The pace is attentive and adaptable to your unique needs, with a focus on the sensations felt in your body. We integrate breath awareness, joint mobility, and safe alignment to accommodate age-related bodily changes. Positions and stretches are adapted to avoid tension and accommodate a range of mobility levels. Chairs, blocks, and other props may be used to support movement and provide stability. The emphasis is on deep, calming breaths to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve lung capacity. Classes include exercises to improve balance, which can help reduce the risk of falls and improve coordination, while other postures will help maintain and develop muscle strength, particularly in areas such as

Private Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga

This personalized one-on-one yoga session is designed to support you through every stage of your motherhood journey—from pregnancy to postpartum recovery. Whether you are preparing for birth, healing after delivery, or simply looking to reconnect with your body, each class is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and stage of recovery.

Sessions combine gentle movement, functional strengthening, breathwork, relaxation, and nervous system regulation to help you feel stronger, more comfortable, and more connected to your body.

During pregnancy, we focus on maintaining mobility, building strength, improving posture, preparing the body for labour, and cultivating confidence through movement and breath.

During the postpartum period, sessions are designed to support your recovery by gently rebuilding core and pelvic floor awareness, restoring strength and mobility, easing tension from feeding and carrying your baby, and promoting rest, healing, and emotional well-being.

No previous yoga experience is required. Every session is adapted to your body’s changing needs, your energy levels, and your personal goals. These lessons can be done at your home, my home, or in a local studio. We will create a unique schedule that works for both of us.
